Comic Page Layout Lab

Create a real editable page blueprint using irregular panels, drawn reading order and separate text placement. UX35 Preview: this is NOT a final print-ready comic, printer proof, or AI-generated artwork.

Page Design

Suggestions use your chosen story rhythm, not a fixed grid. You decide whether to create the suggested layout.

No frame is the default, including on covers. SVG border remains an editable overlay. Explore Border & SFX Library.

Panel reading order

Select a panel to edit its purpose and placement. Overlapping and border-breaking art are intentional when reading order stays clear.

Illustration areas are placeholders. Lettering appears separately so it can be proofread and repositioned in a production editor.

Choose a layout.

Selected panel

Edit panel shapes freely, e.g. 0.05,0.05 | 0.93,0.07 | 0.80,0.40 | 0.05,0.47. Values must remain inside the page.

Editable lettering overlay

Letter overlays are preview markers. Use professional lettering tools for final fonts, tails, balloon shapes, proofreading, bleed and print safety.
